Caring and Compassionate Veterinary Care
November is Pet Diabetes Month. This month aims to bring awareness to the growing prevalence of diabetes in dogs and cats. Obesity is one significant risk factor for the development of diabetes and as dogs and cats age, they may also develop other diseases that can result in diabetes. Untreated, diabetes mellitus can be fatal in dogs and cats. You can learn more about diabetes in pets – here. If you believe your pet is experiencing any diabetic-related symptoms, please call us today!
- Wellness ExamsYour pet can benefit greatly from regular wellness examinations or checkups. Whether your pet is a youngster, a “senior citizen,” or any age in between, wellness examinations provide an excellent opportunity for us to conduct a thorough physical examination and develop a health profile for your pet. This information will help us identify medical problems
- SurgeryIn our continuing efforts to offer the highest quality veterinary medicine, Parker Way Veterinary Clinic is pleased to provide a wide range of surgical services for our patients in Mount Vernon, WA, and surrounding areas. From routine surgical procedures, such as spaying and neutering, to more complex surgeries, we look forward to the opportunity to care
- Dental CareDespite what many pet owners may believe, “dog breath” is not just a nuisance – it’s a sign of an unhealthy mouth. Bad breath is caused by bacteria. Over time, bacteria leads to plaque and tartar buildup on your pet’s teeth. The result is bad breath, reddened gums, and other common signs of dental disease.

I got there before 7:30 and was going to wait to call to get checked in but the manager came out to my car and greeted me. He brought me the necessary paperwork, answered all my questions, and relieved all my concerns about getting my bunny neutered. He told me what to expect when I picked Ebony up and ideas for how to care for him once I got him home. Someone called me at 12:30 when the surgery was done and said everything went great and I could pick Ebony up between 3 and 5. When I picked him up I was given verbal as well as written instructions about when and how to give him pain meds. Everything went great and Ebony is recovering well. I am very pleased with all of my experiences with Parker way Veterinary Clinic.Brenda Berryman
